the contemplative corner

“I am a passionate seeker after truth which is but another name for God.” – Mahatma Gandhi

Welcome to Seara’s Contemplative Corner – a blog dedicated to exploring and expressing Seara’s personal thoughts, opinions, and beliefs on contemplative topics that touch our daily lives. Through curiosity, compassion, and self-examination, Seara draws inspiration from her lived experience, spiritual studies, and her teachers including the ancient Indian sage Patanjali, Vietnamese Buddhist monk and peace advocate Thich Nhat Hanh, Vipassana meditation teacher S. N. Goenka, and Catholic theologian Thomas Merton, among others.

This is not meant to be a one-stop destination for definitive answers, nor a platform claiming authority or accuracy. It’s simply a space for creativity and exploration—for asking questions, making connections, and inviting dialogue. At its core, the intention is to contribute, in some small way, to a more compassionate and loving world, starting one person at a time.
